Marcus Forbes

Marcus has extensive experience in the fitness industry as an athlete, coach and trainer. For the past 12 years he has run a successful fitness business at The Geelong College, training clients and working with the schools sporting clubs. His passion for sports and fitness is demonstrated by his involvement in Australian Rules Football as a player and fitness coach.

Marcus specialises in one-on-one and group training, as well as adventure tourism training. Taking people all around the world as a part of Health & Fitness Holidays groups, adding fitness to their holidays, he is passionate about bringing out the best in others. He has also completed the Kokoda track in PNG 9 times with a group, and will complete his 10th trek in 2021 with the next intake of Health & Fitness Holiday Kokoda trekkers. Marcus also develops and runs pre-season training packages for sporting clubs and enjoys working in large group settings to motivate and inspire.

Marcus’s training style is based on fun fitness so that his clients can enjoy their training while achieving their goals and, as Marcus would say ‘fire up!’ to be their very best.

Jess Forbes

Health and fitness has been a huge part of Jess’s life for the last 10 years.

After having two boys, Jess chose the gym to change her life and as a way to start looking after her body more. This lead to competing on stage in the IFBB bikini competition, and then motivating her to help others by completing her personal trainers course at the Victorian Fitness Academy.

After welcoming their little girl three years ago, Jess continues to enjoy how a commitment to fitness makes her feel and understands now more than ever how it helps her clients to feel the same too. She now specialises in one-on-one training with the extra added focus of nutrition. With her passion and knowledge she designs individualised programs for her clients of all fitness levels to help them reach their goals. Jess has also developed her 8 week Group Challenges which run at various times throughout the year. These are a fantastic way for Jess’s new and existing clients to kick-start a healthy lifestyle change, or give them the extra push they may need to reach a specific goal. Her 8 Week Challenges include a personally tailored training program, weekly group training sessions, before and after body fat scans and photos, a nutrition guide and continual support and help along the way.

8 Week Challenge

Run two to three times a year, Jess's 8 week Challenges are a great way to kick-start a healthy lifestyle change or give you that extra push you might be needing to reach a specific goal. Her challenges all include a personally tailored training program, weekly group training sessions, before and after body fat scans and photos, a nutrition guide and continual support and help along the way. Clients of all fitness levels and ages are welcomed.

Each Challenge welcomes many new as well as repeat clients, joining again and again to further build upon their fitness and achieve goals beyond what they initially thought possible. Pre Season Training

Through Health & Fitness Holidays, Marcus also provides packages for sporting clubs to design and run their pre-season training. Marcus has previously designed and run pre-season training for sporting clubs across Victoria.
